Today, on behalf of Motoring Enthusiasts of Sutherland Shire, I want to provide an update on our plan for managing the 2020 Coffee Cars during the months ahead. We have been working diligently to assess all available options to ensure continuity of the meets. Obviously, the situation is evolving, but we acknowledge the need to act decisively with the information we have at hand. Our hobby is a visceral experience and rather than run without crowds, we have decided to delay any further Coffee Cars meets until further notice.

We will work around current dates of future shows and meets, but do feel there will be an influx of events once the ban is lifted. Fortunately, our calendar this year enables us to do this.

Motoring Enthusiasts of Sutherland Shire’s priority is to deliver a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our fans and partners, irrespective of the dates. We have a plan for how we can make that happen and will begin discussions with our team over the coming days. We anticipate that we will be able to formalise and communicate this plan within the next few weeks. We wish our fans, partners and people all the best through these challenging times.
