2023 Tailem Bend Street Party (SA)
Tailem Bend Welcomes the Opening of the Dragway at the Bend With a Twilight Street Party
In October Tailem Bend will welcome the official opening of the newest attraction at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park - the Dragway at the Bend which will host the National Drag Racing Championship
To celebrate the opening, Coorong District Council will launch the weekend with a twilight street party being held from 4:30pm on Friday, 20 October 2023 in Tailem Bend’s main street on Railway Terrace.
The 2023 Street Party will stay true to its racing roots and will have much on offer, including:
Static displays of vintage, classic, muscle and drag cars along with local working trucks
Live music thanks to Temporary Fix
Battle Mario and Luigi in Mario Kart in the Games2U van
Mini food truck Carnival with food trucks including:
Sword n Ox
TaCHs Stroopwaffles
Tailem Bend Primary School Food van
Tailem Bend Bowling Club on the BBQ
Greek Palace
Potato on a Stick
Carlito's Paella, and more!
