Our annual Cruise to Bathurst

This is a “not to be missed” Cruise

Last year we had Just over 160 Ford Falcons cruising around the track with us, more then double the numbers from the year before and it was an awesome sight this I tell you :)

So let’s get to the finer details

First Meet is at the

?Twin Service station M4 West bound

Parking between Red Rooster McDonald’s

Leave at 8:00am

Picking up more people who have met at Glenbrook information Center , will try to re-group, then continue on. (This will depend on numbers at this point) if there’s too many please just jump in as the cruise comes through

?Next meeting point:

Coles Express petrol station

Lot 1 The Great Western Hwy, South Bowenfels, NSW 2790

-link is posted in the event.

The convoy should arrive between 9:40am and 10:00am.

Will stop for 20 minutes, for fuel, toilet stop and something to eat.

If you are meeting here please be here by no later then 10am.

Continue Cruise to Bathurst, meet up with the Rest of the NSWFPVC just as you come into Bathurst at the Gold panner motor inn.

Please let the cars in at the roundabout

The cruise is Expected to pass the gold panner around 11am.

There is usually a police car sitting here and will follow the convoy through to Mount panorama.

?Last stop: mount panorama

*Alternatively you can choose where you want to jump in along the way, will keep everyone updated on times on the day when we arrive and leave each meeting destination, Via event post and over a uhf if you have one, Chanel 21

?If you are already in bathurst on the day of the cruise you can come to the Car park opposite The Gold panner motel inn.

Time for meeting there will be updated soon.

?Bathurst Neighbourhood Center has come onboard and will be running the BBQ lunch for us this year.

?This year we have decided to Donate all proceeds of the event back to the community of Bathurst as our way of saying thank you for the continuous support we receive with this event.

?Raffle Tickets will also be for sale $10 a ticket all proceeds will also go to the The Bathurst Neighbourhood Center To help them fund future Community Projects.

A few Members from the NSWFPV Collective will lead the cruise up.

We will post up their information and cars as it gets closer to the day.

Another 40 plus Falcons will be jumping in just as you come into Bathurst. (Gold panner motor inn)

?Bring along your UHF

Channel 21

Please remember that this is a public road so all road rules and speed limit must be respected.

We had both the media police presence the last couple of years but so far have had no dramas. Let’s keep it that way. ?

Anybody caught doing burnouts Or driving recklessly will have their registration handed to the police.

This is a annual event and we won’t risk having it ruined by one or two people.

When we get to Mt Panaroma, we will pull up before we go in and give everyone a chance to regroup, have a chat with everyone, please look for Organisers in high Vis as each will relay the messages to the people around them via uhf.

If you have a uhf it’s best to keep it on you so it’s easier to hear what’s being said.

❌ Please note: we will not be stopping in Town to regroup at all anymore as there is way too many cars for this. Just please continue on from the gold panner straight to Mt Panaroma.

?At the mountain:

Once we are organised and are ready to drive in together the photographers will go in first and set up so we can get some awesome Video and pics of us all doing some laps around the track before we head up top for some lunch.

WE HAVE SEVERAL PHOTOGRAPHERS joining us on the day

(links to each photographer posted in the event)

This will be an awesome day.

So lock in the date.

You will kick yourself if you miss out on this one.

?Once again Our major sponsor for the event Autobarn Bathurst will be donating some awesome prizes for our raffle on day as well as hosting a special after hours event from

4pm to 6pm at their store for all participants to come join in on with a lucky door prize and huge sales.

You don’t want to miss out on this

?This event has generated a lot of interest over the last couple of years, if you share this event in your Ford club we strongly recommend picking somewhere else along the route to meet and Jump in as the cruise comes past.

If you have a uhf you will be able to listen in as the cruise gets close to your meeting spot.

This is to avoid over crowding at designated meeting spots and to help make the day and cruise run a lot smoother. ?
