Monday 7 March - Chargers on the Grid at Wanneroo Raceway (Monday)
Celebrating 50 Years Since the Charger Raced at The Wanneroo Raceway 1972 to 2022
"Calling All Chargers" If you own a Charger or your friend owns a Charger - we are wanting to have 50 Chargers on the Wanneroo Raceway to Celebrate 50 years of the Charger racing at Wanneroo.
Meet and talk to the men who raced Chargers at Wanneroo back in the 70's and some of them will be doing a couple of hot laps.
Official Raceway photographer will be taking photos of the Chargers on the Grid - to be apart of this registration is required
Chargers on the Grid at Wanneroo Raceway Wattle Ave East, NEERABUP
The day will comprise the following activities:
8.30 am – 10.30 am. Cars on track (All Mopars welcome)
This will involve 15 minute sessions on the main circuit with 6 to 8 cars per session.
The entry cost is $50 per-session with a maximum of 50 booking slots available, entry into multiple sessions may be purchased. Pre-entry is encouraged due to the limited availability of sessions, please use the online entry form (coming Soon). A maximum of 2 sessions may be booked pre-entry, additional sessions may be purchased on the day if available.
This will be a Motorsport Australia sanctioned event, the sessions are non-competitive and an introductory Motorsport Australia day license will be available for purchase for entrants who don't hold a permanent Motorsport Australia license.
10.30 am to 11.30 am. Race car hot laps exhibition session, participation by invitation. Contact the club for further details.
11.30 am to 2.00 pm. Chargers on the Grid photo session and parade laps. We are looking for 50 Chargers to line up on the Wanneroo Raceway grid for a static display followed by an opportunity to cruise the track (at a controlled speed).
