2024 Florence Thomson Tour Details

Ladies, the Florence Thomson Tour for female drivers in classic cars is happening again.

We will be based in beautiful Gippsland, not so far from Melbourne this time for an easier Friday night commute.

Saturday morning, we will gather at a quaint country hall (Glengarry) for a delicious breakfast before you depart on the driving tour of your choice. The short tour of approximately 52kms will take you through beautiful rolling rural country without major hills to our lunch destination. The return journey is approximately the same distance through similar country and will give a total about 110kms for the day. The long tour will venture into the foothills of the Alps for a slightly more challenging drive, arriving at our lunch destination at the Gippsland Vehicle Collection in Maffra, after approximately 98kms. (highly suitable for the display of our cars, drivers will be dressed in period costume) The return journey will be about 56kms, making about 160kms for the day.

Sunday morning sees a farewell breakfast at another very interesting venue.
