The 2019 GT-R Festival celebrated 50 years of GT-R along with 20 years of R34 GT-R and 30 years of R32 GT-R. The event was a great success and will be returning in 2020 on May 30th at Sydney Dragway.

It is an event celebrating all things GT-R. Old school, R32, R33, R34 and R35 models all welcome to display and race. Activities will include drag racing, display ares for each model with multiple show and shine categories and trophies,GT-R Showcase area, car clubs, traders alley, special guests, motorkhana and more!
We will be announcing our special guests at the start of 2020.

DRAG RACING
We will have 11 different categories to make for some competitive and great racing. Racing starts at 1pm so that crowds can enjoy the activities in the pits in the morning and racing in the afternoon.
Drag racing competitors will park either in workshop allocated space in the pits, or, in display areas alongside display cars. Once racing starts an area will be allocated as pits for people to use.
Each category will be allocated a staging lane and the track will operate as a test and tune. This means you will get plenty of track time. The winners or each category are determined simply by your best ET of the day.

Please note that all drag racing is done under IHRA regulations and we have a maximum limit of 150 competitors. Entries are on a first come, first served basis.

Street Cars are allowed 2 pit crew (not included in entry) No support vehicles or trailers allowed in the pits.
Pro Cars are allowed 5 pit crew (not included in entry) and have extra room for a support vehicle or enclosed trailer and a marquee. Pro Cars have dedicated sessions in the schedule with extra media coverage and advertised for crowd.
If you have pre entered, you can allocate crew to anyone already inside the venue.
If you are entering on the day you can buy crew tickets at the gate. Same price as spectator ticket.

DISPLAY - SHOW SHINE - CLUB DISPLAYS
The aim of the GT-R Festival is to bring as many GT-Rs as possible from around Australia together to celebrate everything GT-R. We will have an area for each model of GT-R to be displayed and there will be multiple show and shine categories with trophies awarded also. For 2020 entrants will be able to purchase a larger display spot in prime position in the showcase area. This will allow a display to be set-up and more room around the car, along with more foot traffic and media. We will also do a small photoshoot an article on each car in the showcase area post event.

DRIVING EVENTS
As well as display and drag racing, we are also organising a tarmac rally style khanacross for some fun driving events at the GT-R Festival.
Anyone can enter. You simply enter online or pay an extra fee at the sign-on area to the driving arena.
There are four 90-minute sessions with room for 15 cars in each. The cost is $50 per driver per session and you can book as many as you like and simply sign on at the accreditation tent by the event start line.

As it is a "come and try" style event, no helmet or specific safety equipment is required. Your car must simply pass a basic mechanical safety check.

It is a non speed event and if you don't have a CAMS license you can buy one on the day for $25 when you sign on. You can also take a passenger, which will be $20 per person to buy a passenger ticket, which can be used during all sessions.


SPECTATORS
Spectator gates open at 9am. Spectators must park in the spectator carpark, which is entered via the spectator entrance. Come into the driveway and turn right at the roundabout. Then walk to the ticket booth to collect your tickets. pre-ordered tickets will have a priority line. Spectators can enter earlier if they arrive with an entrant. We also have 100 Trackside Viewing tickets available, which cost an extra $50 and can be purchased with your ticket online. You can also go one step further with our VIP Ticket which includes:
