Hope you've all been well. Here are the details regarding the 20th of July brisbane Honda meet
This time around I'm hoping to achieve something a little different. As you all can see, my prelude is repping the Palestinian flag for good reason. I'm sure you're all aware that there is serious oppression happening throughout the globe and more specifically my brothers and sisters in Palestine. So I'd like to try something unrelated, but necessary. To raise awareness and stand for morality.
In order to do that I'll be handing out flags to whoever would like to join (I have over 70), get some solid professional photos for social media, and raising some funds so we can offer food packages as that's basically the maximum allowable assistance we can offer.
Whether this is something you're interested in or not, this is still a Honda meet, feel free to attend and voice your opinion or just join for a fun, large gathering of oil consuming Hondas…
Here are the locations I've come up with for the Saturday. We'll start at one and cruise to the other.
(3:00-4:00pm) TK Maxx, Skygate subject to change. I'm unsure whether the carpark is empty at this time, I'll need someone to check please.
Here I'll be handing out flags (flags are free) and raising funds from as little as a silver coin to whoever would like to show their support. We'll be taking photos and rolling shots with the flags for awareness during the cruise and at other locations.
(4:00-5:00pm) From Skygate, we'll drive down the m1, through sunnybank and to ‘the avenue’ (street with those nice trees) for those interested. Here we'll take some more photos with flags on display to raise awareness and show support. Whoever would like to avoid this can go direct to the next location.
(4:30-6:00pm) Calamvale central, Compton road. Underground car park from the Woolworths side of the centre. Very empty and not a speed bump in sight. Meet and greet, grab some bubble tea or whatever you'd like upstairs.
(6:30pm+) pizza palace, Browns Plains. Jb hi fi car park. Another empty spot with no speed bump if you drive in through the jb hi fi side. Just across the road from here is a great restaurant willing to show their support. I'll try to negotiate a discount for us. Check out their menu online.
