Regretfully, the Desert City Hot Rod Club is announcing that the decision has been made to cancel the 2021 Goanna Run.

Along with the concern over border closures, restrictions and lockdowns, in the current worsening climate, we do not feel that holding our event would be the responsible thing to do.

We understand that many entrants make the annual trip to Mildura and the feedback that we have been getting for this year’s event is that it was going to be their first since the start of the pandemic.

We would be happy to roll over your entry to next year for those who have already entered. If that does not suit, a full refund is offered. Once we have reviewed the entries we will be in contact with you.

The Golden River Big 4 Caravan Park is also happy to roll over bookings, or if the regulations permit, those who have booked can still stay at the park. There will be no organised club events, however.

Last year and then this year would have been our 34th Goanna Run. We will now plan for this to happen in 2022.
