The spectacular Motafrenz Show Shine will once again be held at Como Park North, Alexandra Ave South Yarra (Enter from Alexandra Ave opposite Kanteen café)

The Show Shine is a fully inclusive day for all vehicles of any age, marque, condition, configuration, colour and creed. Visitors are welcome to display with us or simply enjoy the day and meeting club members and their vehicles. It is always a very relaxing day for a picnic and sharing motoring knowledge and stories.

Themes are encouraged and are always a great way of adding to the fun. Think; picnic perfection, camper van, bush bashing, Priscilla or Patina just as starting suggestions. Voting will once again be by those participating along with a committee’s choice award.

There will be four defined rows of vehicles by age and Motafrenz marshals will be on hand to help you register and position your display vehicle.

This event will be operating under a COVIDsafe plan. There will be a QR code so you can check in on the day. We will also use a QR code to allow for contactless voting.

DISPLAY LINE UP:

Row 1 - up to 1959. Vintage, veteran and post war vehicles and basically anything before 1960s styling.

Row 2 - 1960 to 1979. Typically chrome bumpers and plenty of colour.

Row 3 - 1980 to 1994. Typically classic plastic bumper 25 years old.

Row 4 - 1995 to present.

Committee’s Choice award

BRING: Family, friends and a picnic lunch. There is also the alfresco Kanteen café on the bank of the River that does excellent coffee, Turkish pizzas, hearty breakfasts and take away.

SUITS: Any vehicle you wish to display. Does not have to be a car.

CLUB ENDORSED CPS EVENT: The Club’s constitution requires members with vehicles registered with Motafrenz’ Club Permit Scheme (CPS) to have their vehicle sighted at one event per year and this is the ideal opportunity for that sighting.

ROADS: Sealed – Freeway main roads. Parking on sports ground grass.

PETS: This is a dog-friendly event.

COST: $5 per vehicle. Gold coin donation for spectators.
