Display day to celebrate an initiative of the Australian Historic Motoring Federation. The aim being to promote and display Australia's strong motoring heritage and show the community, business and government the strength of the Australian historic motoring movement.

The historic motoring movement has a massive input into the economy as vast sums of money are spent on the restoration and

maintenance of motor vehicles. There is the added economic benefit to businesses (e.g. caravan parks, hotels, restaurants and service stations) in the towns and cities where events are hosted.

National Motoring Heritage Day is a day for historic vehicle owners share their passion with the public and other vehicle enthusiasts.
