Burnouts are BACK at Queensland Raceway!
Octane Burnouts fires up on Sunday, July 3rd at the infamous QR burnout pad!
Gates open at 9am for entrants and Spectators with all the action kicking off from 10:30am on pad.
All tow vehicles may enter across the pad until 10am. All arrivals after 10am must use the gravel driveway from the top of the hill down to the rear of pad area. Once your car is unloaded, you Must move your tow car back to the front carpark for the duration of the event. You may only bring your tow vehicle and trailer back into the venue to collect your burnout car when you are ready to leave the event.
No Alcohol is permitted, and all drivers will be subject to a breath test before their burnout. If you blow over 0.02, you will be told to return to the pit area and come back later in the day to try again.
Drivers briefing takes place at 10:20am at the far end of pad and ALL DRIVERS MUST ATTEND.
Entrant information.
~Pre-Purchased driver entry - $80
~On the day Driver entry if spots available - $100
~Minimum Entrant age - 16 years
~Entrants aged 16-18 years old - You MUST have a current Learners permit to show that you have had some driving experience prior to entering Octane burnouts. Your parents MUST sign on for you on the day, therefore a PARENT must be present at the event.
~Entrants 18+ - No Drivers licence required, however you MUST have some form of government issued photo ID. (18+ Card, Passport etc). This is not negotiable.
~All drivers must obtain a AASA "EXTREME" licence or a "DAY LICENCE" to enter Octane Burnouts. Visit https://aasa.com.au/ to purchase. Your must purchase your licence before the event and have any paperwork ready to show the sign on staff at QR on the day.

~Each entrant will get 2 burnouts on the day. You may perform both burnouts at any time of your choosing. There is no group 1 and group 2 sessions, so you can literally do a burnout, change tyres, line up, and do your second burnout straight away. Thios will allow more convenience for those who don't wish to stay for the entire day.
~At the end of the event, if we are running ahead of schedule, we will open the pad up for an expression session. Please note, lining up for the expression session doesn't guarantee you another burnout.
~Pro Burnout cars have right of way at all times.
PASSENGERS - All passengers must purchase a passenger band from the booth at the front of the Burnout compound. Cost per band is $5.
16+ minimum age for passengers, and any passengers under 18 must have their PARENT sign on for them.
SPECTATORS - Purchase at the gate
Adults 13+ $20
Kids 5-12 - $15
Kids under 5 - FREE
EFTPOS available at the gate
All spectators must park in the front carpark.
This is a drug and alcohol free event, and random bag and vehicle searches may be performed at random.
As this is a family friendly event, we have a ZERO tolerance to bad behaviour and drama.
Anyone found bringing alcohol into the venue, causing fights, or anything that Hi-Octane and/or Queensland raceway staff feel is detrimental to the fun and safety of the event, will face an instant minimum 6-month ban from any Hi-Octane events.
