QR Drift Playground Drift Day - 6 April 2024

Starts: Saturday, 06 April 2024, 8:00 am Ends: Saturday, 06 April 2024, 5:00 pm

Get your main track DRIFT LICENSE! Enjoy a day packed with drifting across 2 layouts and make the most of our experienced instructors for any driving needs!

Challenge your car control skills with a whole day of open drifting for all levels of experience.

The morning will start off with an open beginner layout to teach all those new and warm up the tyres of the experienced. Which will follow up with a faster more technical layout in the afternoon for those big sends and teaching the advanced skills. Beginners, Intermediates and Advanced drivers welcome to all sessions as runs are solo or tandems only with those you chose to run with.

There will be an instructor on the day to teach you all you want to know, or just jump in your car with mates and drift for fun. Tandems, no noise limits, just a good day with the boys and girls shredding some tyres around cool layouts and doing awesome challenges!

Spots are limited for MAXIMUM seat time, no waiting forever to get on track or sharing the track with loads of cars if you don’t want to! Not able to make it for the entire day? There is also the option to book for a half day in either the Morning or Afternoon! Although a full day is HIGHLY recommended.

Drift Licensing is only issued to drivers who run in the afternoon session due to track layout and requirements to obtain the licence. If you have not got your licence yet, this is the only way to get one to ensure all drivers on main track look after it, this ensures we get to drift at QR indefinitely. Over the day we will be running multiple layouts with a start and finish line. This will provide variety to learn and test your skills and maximise track time.

Sharing with another driver? Second Driver spots are available on the day for this event. Please note this is still one booked space with two drivers sharing. You are instead able to book 2 separate spaces online.

The event runs on the QR Drift Playground from 08:30 – 17:00, with a 30min lunch break in-between, be at the gates at 07:00 for the morning/all day sessions, or by 12pm for the afternoon session and see the Skid Control Staff to sign in.
