This event is sadly FORCED POSTPONED due to the following updated laws this week in NSW:
“Outdoor public gatherings: No more than 30 people can gather outside in a public place which includes public parks, reserves, beaches, pubic gardens and spaces.”
This event has 600 people or more going and the BBQ organised within a public park.
"Penalties for breaching public health orders: In the case of an individual, the maximum penalty is $11,000, or imprisonment for 6 months, or both plus a further $5,500 fine each day the offence continues. The NSW Police can also issue on-the-spot fines of $1,000 for an offence.”
All statements above are copied and pasted from the NSW Government website, www.nsw.gov.au. These laws were updated this week.
We do not want anybody receiving a $1,000 on-the-spot fine for attending this event. Police also have the right to block exits to get away.
A new confirmed event date will be announced on the Royal Car Club Facebook group, once the COVID fines ease a bit. Please join below for updates.
