To celebrate the official launch of the Adelaide Car Club, we're holding a special event at the Adelaide Showgrounds on June 26.

Forget the ferris wheel and ditch the dodgems – we're turning a section of the Adelaide Showgrounds into a motorkhana course. A limited field of 60 cars will take on a tricky short course in an afternoon of full throttle fun.

Indoors we'll be serving up hearty wintry food, with beer wine, coffee and hot chocolate. You can even toast marshmallows over the wood fire braziers. Plus you can watch all of the action from under cover.

There'll be a curated display of rare and exotic cars, plus you're encouraged to arrive in style and put your own pride and joy on show.

This is a MEMBERS-ONLY event. Spectator entry is FREE for all Adelaide Car Club members – which includes everyone that took part in the Shannons Adelaide Rally and Shannons Prima Tour.

Members are also invited to join the motorkhana competition – there are competitive categories for Modified 2WD, Modified 4WD, Street Cars and Supercars, plus we offer a Come Try category and licencing for those who don't have a Motorsport Australia licence.

Members can bring up to three guests with them, with guest tickets available for $20 each. Alternatively, your guests could become members themselves and attend the even for free while receiving all the benefits of ACC membership such as Motorsport Australia affiliation for motorsport licencing, plus we have been approved to offer historic registration.
