Willowbank Raceway is both honoured and excited to announce the introduction of a new event, the Stomper 1/8th mile Celebration. With the blessing of the Winterburn family, this annual event will see a coming together of the drag racing and hot rod community to remember and celebrate the legacy of Stomper. This event will be a festive occasion featuring activities such as 1/8th mile drag racing, car and hot rod show, live music and what Stomper enjoyed most … partying!
Set aside Saturday the 4th of September 2021 in your calendar. Be prepared to have lots of fun and celebrate all things that Stomper held near and dear. After the racing activities conclude, a live band will play on into the night so camping will be available for anyone who wishes to stay at the raceway for the evening.
