This is now our 5th annual Surf Show and Shine event and each year we grow a little more, which is very exciting!
This years format sees a Kombi Parade on Saturday, 26th Sep, followed by the main event on Sunday, 27th Sep - as follows:

*** Saturday 26th September 2020 departing car park at 4.30 pm Kombi Parade along Sunshine Coast Promenade, in convey around 100 Kombi's escorted by Cricks Volkswagen special vehicles..******
*** Sunday, 27th September 2018 from 9am to 4pm ***
The Main Event - at Mooloolaba Car Park - Beachfront
Entry fee at the gate: $5 per adult and $2 per school child
- Kombis Display and competition hosted by Cricks Volkswagen Sunshine Coast
- Surf boards display and competition hosted by
- Live music throughout the day such a
- 91.9 SEA FM broadcasting until midday
- Food and Drink Trucks
- Stalls
- Children entertainment area
- Raffle and prizes
- And plenty of fun times and good laughs!

The festival is a celebration of a bygone era that many people remember with fond memories as they may have been holidaying with family at the coast, they grew up in the back of a kombi or used to own a kombi. It is not just about kombis but also surfing as well. Each year there is a growing collection of surf boards and surfing memorabilia.
We are lucky to have a number of supporters who greatly assist in helping to deliver the festival which is a great day out for all ages. The festival through a small entry fee raises money for those away from the coast who are doing in tough with remoteness, drought, fire, flood and the associated family, social, and community issues that comes with these tragedies.
