It was a year ago I went to Mansfield for the Classic Holden Nationals 2021 which was abruptly cancelled for a snap 5 day lockdown. 

This was hugely disappointing for the hundreds of organizers, volunteers and especially participants, many of whom had traveled to Mansfield from interstate. 

That was 2021. 

Thankfully 2022 has a different Covid landscape and this years Nationals were a huge success! 

I managed to go for Saturday (it’s a 5 day event) but stayed most of the day and got to see a fantastic array of Holdens. 

I tagged along on the mystery cruise to the base of Mount Buller and it was a treat to see and photograph a lot of these cars on the road. 

Thanks to all involved for a fantastic event and the way it supports Mansfield and the shire. 

I wish I still had my old FE Ute to take to the next one!!
