Yesterday I hit the road again and surprisingly avoided a lot of rainy weather to attend the Lifestyle Shepparton Classic Show and Shine. 

A really good mix of vehicles that appealed to many people if some of the comments I overheard are any indication. 

It’s always interesting to see so many makes of cars that were once common sights on Australian roads but are now just automotive historical artifacts. 

Names like Wolseley, Sunbeam, Humber, Hillman. 

Younger generations have never heard of them but older people not only remember them but have fond memories of them. And there were plenty of beautiful examples of very well maintained and restored examples in Shepparton yesterday. 

As I said, luckily the rain stayed away for the show, but if the forecast is better next time this show is held, I expect a much bigger crowd.
