Lincoln debuted this restored 1934 Model 40 Special Speedster today at The Lodge, Pebble Beach in Monterey County, Calif. This custom roadster, based on a 1934 Ford, was Edsel Ford's one-off vehicle that he personally commissisioned Ford's chief designer E.T. Gregoire to style and build. After its showing this weekend, it will be returned to The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Mich. The vehicle's restoration was performed by RM Auto Restoration in Ontario, Canada. The objective was to return the vehicle to as close as possible to its original condition as it was in 1940.
