After a 2 year gap in events, the Alexandra Truck, Ute and Rod Show came back to the Murrindindi Shire with a bang yesterday! 

Always held on the Queen’s Birthday weekend, the show had unfortunately been cancelled due to Covid in 2020 and 2021. 

Thousands of people and hundreds of vehicles crammed the streets of picturesque Alexandra to support the show and have a great time. 

Throw in traditional woodchop events and a sideshow alley for the kids and the town was definitely in festival mode. 

Huge congratulations to the organizers. The logistics of this event boggle the mind. 

Many huge trucks parked with precision in a tiny main street seems impossible but they seem to pull it off easily. Luckily the winter weather was relatively kind so it didn’t dampen the atmosphere. 

If you are into trucks, utes and rods and you can get to this show in 2023, I’d highly recommend it!!
