Cranksters Cruise, Nagambie, Victoria - September 18, 2022

I had an eye on the long range forecast for the week leading up to the Cranksters Cruise at the Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre. 

It didn’t look great. 

But nevertheless, although the day promised some rain, I thought I’d take a chance. 

I met some friends in Seymour early and cruised up in convoy. 

The location is fantastic for this type of event and on a fine sunny day it would be awesome as it has been in the past, but the damp conditions were really pretty tough. I’m sure the organizers would have been disappointed after all the planning. 

Having said all that, there eas still a pretty great turnout of some really nice cars. 

There was special parking set aside for 32 Fords who were celebrating their 70th anniversary. 

And, the wet conditions also offered me some interesting photographic opportunities. 

You have to make the most of what you’ve got.
