Tesla slashes prices, renames entire range.

The electric car manufacturer has cut almost $60,000 from the price of its Model X flagship. Tesla’s Model S sedan and Model X SUV have both copped significant price changes for 2019, along with a new naming convention. Badges have been changed from 75D, 100D, and P100D, to Standard Range, Long Range, and Performance, reflecting the convention being used for the Model 3. Entry pricing for the most affordable ‘Standard Range’ models have been increased by $750 for the Model S and $600 for Model X.
