Chrysler Corp. began selling rebadged Mitsubishi Colt Galants with Dodge Colt badging in North America as 1971 models, eventually adding an identically priced Plymouth version. For 1985, the Mitsubishi Chariot minivan was brought over and given Dodge/Plymouth Colt Vista badging, and soon a four-wheel-drive version was added to the lineup.
