Picnic in The Park
The smell of oil and fumes filled the air, the smell car enthusiasts love to wake up to as the National Motoring Heritage Day swung under way as at least 100 of South East Queensland’s best vintage cars rolled onto Cameron Park on the 19thof May. Music filled the air as Brisbane Cities Pipe Band gave the show a real taste of what they can do. Kids, families, and die hard car enthusiasts all had something to smile about with mouth watering treats from local food vans, free face painting and historic bus tours were underway while being treated to a beautiful crisp winters day. While taking in everything at the show the 1929 Dodge Brothers Model: Da Sports Roadster took the cake as my personal favourite. Coated in a brilliant green with accents of orange on the wheels made the car areal head turner.
