For a long time, Melbourne Cup Day was a special day on the calendar for a lot of people. 

Not for the action at Flemington, but rather the Pegasus Swap Meet in outer eastern Melbourne. 

Held for many years at the trotting track in Croydon, it has since moved to a new location at Melbourne Gun Club in Yering. 

A spacious and picturesque venue with lots of room to grow. 

A good turnout of cars and swap meet sites had people wandering around in the morning sun for many hours. 

The perfect way to start a public holiday!!
