One of the great things about working at Deluxe Rod Shop is getting to see just how much work goes into building the cars they do.
An amazing amount of thought and skill in every aspect of the build culminating in an eventual unveiling at some of Australia’s premier events.
This was the case last weekend at the Hot Rod & Custom Auto Expo at Rosehill in Sydney.
Leigh’s childhood dream, this 1935 Ford Roadster Pickup, hand built at Deluxe Rod Shop made its debut and was a standout.
I was lucky enough to be involved in the build with some fabrication and machining of some parts, but as with all these builds, it’s such a huge team effort, orchestrated by Steven Alldrick, owner of Deluxe. His vision for the end result at all stages of these builds is astonishing.
Here’s a few of my pics of the final product in Sydney.
