Last Sunday I attended the 27th annual Alexandra Truck Ute and Rod Show in Alexandra, Victoria.
An absolutely huge event for the town and shire as well as the trucking industry/community. Estimated 15,000-18,000 people and over 300 trucks in attendance, the day was a ripper.
The weather was cold relatively kind so it didn’t dampen the mood too much.
It’s not only a truck show, but more like a carnival with local traders all open, food stalls, market stalls, kids rides and show bags, live music and the fantastic woodchop competition. It really has a great atmosphere.
I’ll definitely be there again next year.
