Well…

After thinking about doing something in my new home town of Yea for a few months, I finally got in touch with the right people and the Yea Cruise Night was born!! 

The Bushrodders Rod and Custom Club have a long history in Yea and I was fortunate to get in touch with Jim Wolstencroft the president of the club. 

After a chat with him and Steven Alldrick from the renowned Deluxe Rod Shop, also in Yea, we decided on a Saturday night, set some dates and had our first cruise. 

Fair to say the response was overwhelming. Well over 100 cars arrived in town from all over the place. 

Our local businesses benefited from the extra people in town on a Saturday night which is usually pretty sleepy in Yea. 

It was great to see young and old enjoy the night and watch the parade of awesome vehicles in attendance. 

Yea Cruise Night has been slated for the second Saturday of the month in daylight savings times. So we have 3 more to come. 

January 8th, February 12th and March 12th. 

Very much looking forward to the next one!!
