Last weekend (Labour Day long weekend) was a busy one for me. 

Yea Cruise Night on Saturday, Swanpool Motor Festival on Sunday and Seymour and District Show ‘n’ Shine on Monday. 

I was taking it a bit easier so I left the classic cars at home, took the daily driver and lazily checked out the big swap meet that was being held  adjacent to the car show. It was a few hours before I even used the camera. 

I also decided to challenge myself to shoot the type of pics that I love. Close up detail shots. Highlighting parts of vehicles that we recognize instantly. Badges. Dashboards. Hood ornaments. All the things that give older cars their character. 

I think I need to do some more of these.
