The gloomy weather didn’t keep the enthusiasts away at the Day of the VW 2019, hosted by the Volkswagen Club of South Australia. Lined up with various Kombis and Beatles, spare parts venders and fresh coffee, there was something there for everyone. Stand outs of the day had to be the black over ceiling wax red 1955 23 window Samba and the black Type 3 Panel Van. Special mention goes to the creative camouflage paint job on the Baja, which was rattle canned using tree leaves to create a stencil. Looking forward to seeing what the 2020 show will have to offer.
It was smokin hot in Adelaide in February and it was a busy weekend for car shows but the All Chrysler weekend was amazing, with a few hundred turning up. It was pretty awesome to see the run through the streets.
